Each year, the Autism Society of Maryland’s (AUSOM’s) Every Step Counts Autism Walk & 5K Run brings together those touched by Autism and members of the wider community in a supportive, energizing, fun environment. This year’s event on October 4, 2025 continues that tradition, featuring a 5K Run, 4K Walk and a mellow 1K Stroll. Guests can take in the family-friendly fare that will include inflatables, entertainment by roving circus performers, bubble and balloon artists, and costumed characters! Madhu Family Fund

The fund was created in memory of Madhu Thibaudeau, a long-time AUSOM board member, volunteer and staff member, who passed away suddenly in March 2019. Her legacy of kindness, support and giving is remembered with the creation of this fund and the many donations made in her name to the Autism Society of Maryland. INCLUSION & ACCEPTANCE

Autism in the Park - Howard & Anne Arundel County

These annual celebrations of the Autism community include sensory-friendly activities, entertainment, fitness, food trucks, and resources for families. Estimated Attendance: 500-1,500+ per event. There are several ways to provide support for these events. All sponsorships include signage and table at event, visibility on event promotions.
