Looking Back and LOOKING FORWARD:  Special Education in the Recovery Period

This virtual annual meeting with leaders in the HCPSS Dept. of Special Education will provide you with the opportunity to:

* Learn about the school system’s plans to address learning recovery, the re-integration of students, assessments, and MORE
* Meet with central office special education leaders for your child’s grade
* Connect with other parents
* Ask your questions about this school year and the 2021-2022 school year

Presenter(s):  Dr. Terri Savage – Executive Director, HCPSS Dept. of Special Education; Janice Yetter – Director, HCPSS Dept. of Special Education; and the HCPSS-DSE Leadership Team.  Dr. Terri Savage and Ms. Yetter will present on HCPSS’s plans for the coming year, then participants will gather in break-out sessions for parents/families with students in early childhood programs, elementary school, middle school and high school.  Break-out sessions will be moderated by members of the DSE leadership team.
