Like so many in our community, we at the Autism Society of Maryland have been reeling in the aftermath of the tragic death of Alex LaMorie early Sunday morning at Patuxent Commons following a wellness check by the Howard County Police Department. Since the incident, we have been working closely with our partners at Mission First Housing Group to support residents, Alex’s family, and the Patuxent Commons community during this incredibly difficult time.
We are continuing to work closely with our partners to support those affected and to ensure the community has access to care and resources.
