Occupational Therapy and Autism
Speakers: Jamie Levine and Michele Hayunga with OT Ventures, LLC
Jamie Levine created OT Ventures, LLC in 2005 to provide creative, intuitive, family-centered treatment to children and young adults. Jamie has advanced training in sensory integration theory, The Alert Program, Brain Gym, Handwriting Without Tears, The Listening Program, and the Sequential Oral Sensory Feeding Approach. When Jamie is not dedicating her time to the practice, she is caring for her husband, two children, and a couple of cats.
Michele Hayunga has worked in pediatric occupational therapy since 2013. She is certified in Handwriting Without Tears and has training in sensory processing, play-based approaches, behavioral strategies, and SOS feeding therapy. Michele loves helping children gain skill and build confidence through one-on-one therapy and social groups. When she is not in the clinic, Michele enjoys running, traveling, and cheering her teenage daughters on at sports.
