Due to the bad weather forecasted for this Saturday’s event, and in an effort to provide a safer and more comfortable Every Step Counts Autism Walk & 5K, we have made the difficult decision to reschedule. The new date is:
Every Step Counts Autism Walk & 5K Run
Saturday, November 19, 2022
9am – Noon
Centennial Park, Ellicott City, MD
All other details will remain the same with our sponsors, special guests and entertainers joining us on that date!
We feel strongly that this event is a wonderful opportunity for the Autism community to connect and celebrate, and that being able to do so at a later date in person is important to all of us. We understand that some of you may not be able to attend on the new date. Here are some options for those of you registered to run or walk but cannot attend:
- Donate your registration fee to HCAS
- Gift your registration fee to another runner or walker
- Transfer your registration fee to next year’s event
- Request a refund.
This is our major fundraiser of the year and all proceeds go to support educational programming, social events, support groups, information and referral, and all the services we provide throughout the year. The event site will remain open for additional registrations up until the event and donations can be made through the end of November.
