Since 2016, the Autism Society of Maryland (HCAS) and the Howard County Special Education Citizens Advisory Council (SECAC) have partnered to jointly host a Board of Education Candidate Forum on Special Education.  Since the forum planned for March had to be cancelled due to COVID-19, we sent a list of 6 questions to each of the candidates to get their take on the state of Special Education in HCPSS, and potential future improvements.  CLICK HERE to access links for each of the candidates who have submitted a response.  We encourage you to check out their thoughts on special education before submitting your ballot!
