Special Education during the COVID-19 Pandemic: Q&A with Leslie Seid Margolis, Disability Rights Maryland

Leslie Seid Margolis, managing attorney at Disability Rights Maryland, will share important special education updates from the state and offer helpful guidance on how families can collaborate with school teams during the closure while protecting students’ rights. This one-hour session will provide ample opportunity for facilitated Q&A. Via videoconference – REGISTRATION REQUIRED!

About our presenter: Leslie Seid Margolis is a managing attorney for Disability Rights Maryland and a champion for children with special needs. She is also the parent of a daughter with disabilities and has experienced first-hand the challenges experienced by the families and children she serves. She has served on the board of directors of the National Epilepsy Foundation and Council of Parent Attorneys and Advocates. She is a frequent speaker at family conferences on helping families build better relationships with the school and their IEP teams.
