WHAT WILL BE COVERED? This practical workshop will prepare you to address common behavior challenges of students with ASD with skill, insight, and compassion. You’ll gain an in-depth understanding of the characteristics students with ASD may have and how those traits impact performance in classrooms, at home, and in the community. Guidance on using this information to enhance the functional behavior assessment (FBA), behavior intervention plan (BIP), and multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) processes will be provided. As a result, you will learn how to support students with ASD using evidence-based practices, resolve or reduce behavior challenges, and strengthen academic and social-emotional outcomes for every learner.
