Support our AUSOM Ride!
On August 2nd, our AUSOM Team will be hitting the road to bike from Baltimore to Dewey Beach as part of the Bike to the Beach MD Ride! We’ll join hundreds of other riders along the route, all to raise funds that support our work with the Autism Community.
The Autism Society of Maryland (AUSOM) connects and empowers 8,000+ Autistic individuals and their families annually with the resources they need to live fully. This includes:
- Information and Referral from our resource coordinators
- Guidance from our special education consultants
- Support groups for families and caregivers (English & Spanish)
- Social and fitness events that welcome our community
- Educational webinars on a variety of topics (English & Spanish)
- Advocacy to improve opportunities and funding
Since 1993, we have served the community with a grassroots, boots on the ground approach that provides a welcoming, supportive environment.
Our mission critical events and activities are available at no cost to the community. We have staff and offices in Howard, Anne Arundel, and Montgomery Counties but welcome participation and inquiries form the surrounding areas. As rates of Autism diagnosis continue to club to 1 in 36 nationally and 1 in 43 in Maryland, AUSOM remains committed to providing a community for individuals and their families as they navigate the intricacies of life with Autism.
