Office Hours: Thursday, June 3, from 9:30-10:30am
FREE to attend but REGISTRATION is REQUIRED to receive the Webex login by email!
Do you have specific questions about compensatory education and recovery services as they relate to your child(ren)? Sign up for a virtual, one-on-one consultation with Leslie Seid Margolis, Managing Attorney, Disability Rights Maryland, and Beth Benevides, Parent Advocate, Autism Society of Maryland. Login to this office hour session by 9:30AM and you’ll have an opportunity to discuss your situation on a first come, first served basis. These office hours will be provided on a first come, first served basis as participants login. Each consult will last about 10 minutes depending on demand. Ms. Margolis and Ms. Benevides will make every effort to meet with those who log in at the start of the office hour. Registration for a specific office hour date is required to receive the login by email.

Compensatory Education & Recovery Services for Special EducationAs students return to in-person learning, school teams will be evaluating your child’s progress to determine if compensatory education/recovery services are required. Parent input and participation in these decisions will be critical. These informational sessions will provide guidance on how parents can prepare for and participate in these decisions.
