In honor of Autism Awareness Month, we are hosting a special Ice Cream Party & Guest Speaker to celebrate and support individuals with unique needs. As part of our efforts to raise awareness, we will also be highlighting the critical skill of swimming—an important life-saving ability, especially for children who are naturally drawn to water. Tragically, studies show that nearly 70% of drowning incidents involve individuals with autism-related conditions.

To help shed light on this important topic, we are excited to welcome guest speaker Brittany Bledsoe, a mother who will share her deeply moving story about her child’s experience. Brittany’s experience emphasizes the impact of swimming skills and the role they play in safety and independence.

We invite you to attend this event, listen to Brittany’s powerful message, and help us spread awareness about the importance of swimming for those who may be more vulnerable in aquatic environments. Feel free to bring along friends, family, or anyone you may know with disabilities or who would benefit from hearing this story and learning more about this important issue.
