DESCRIPTION:Enjoy our weekly FREE Yoga Classes with instructors from the Yoga Center of Columbia. These classes are made possible through the generosity of The Hussman Foundation.    \nParticipants and parents/guardians to pre-register with HCAS. This is a one-time registration. Once registered\, you will be added to the list to receive\, by e-mail\, the videoconference login and password for any future yoga classes. You will receive this information directly from the yoga instructors before each Saturday class. You may request to unsubscribe from the list at any time. \nCLICK to REGISTER \nEach class will open about 10 minutes early for participants to visit with one another. Please login at least a few minutes early to get admitted. Instructors will close the class to late arrivals promptly at 3:30pm so that instruction can begin on time and proceed without interruption. DESCRIPTION:This session has been canceled.  We will resume on May 30! \n  \nThe Autism Society of Maryland\, through a generous grant from the Hussman Foundation\, is now offering virtual fitness classes tailored towards those in the autism community ages 8-16.  The classes will be offered via FACEBOOK LIVE with video available after the live stream.  The class will make fitness fun for all levels and interests.  No need for fancy equipment or a big workout space.  You can use your own body weight or light resistance (bottled water\, cans of soup).  The class will incorporate cardio training and weights/resistance training\, while working on functional fitness fundamentals such as balance\, agility and core strength.  Dress in your most fun workout attire and join us\, Saturday mornings at 10am \nAbout the instructor:  Katie Gandy has been a group fitness instructor and personal trainer for over 15 years.
