SUMMARY:#GivingTuesday: Support Patuxent Commons Housing Project!
DESCRIPTION:This #Giving Tuesday\, December 1st\, a day of international giving\, support Patuxent Commons\, an intentional\, supportive community for people of all ages\, abilities\, and incomes\, planned for the Hickory Ridge neighborhood of Columbia\, MD.  Once completed\, the mixed income development will have 25% of the units set-aside to serve individuals with disabilities with the balance of the units targeted to seniors\, individuals and families.  The location\, close to transit\, shopping\, recreation\, and job opportunities\, will facilitate integration of residents with disabilities into the surrounding community and promote their ability to live as independently as possible. \nOur goal is to raise $20\,000 to support Patuxent Commons.  And\, thanks to the generous support of the Dart II Foundation and Harkins Builders\, the first $7\,500 will be matched dollar-for-dollar\, essentially doubling your support!   \nCLICK TO DONATE \nFor more information about Patuxent Commons\, visit https://courbanize.com/projects/patuxentcommons/information
