SUMMARY:HCPSS Parent Empowerment Conference
DESCRIPTION:Parents and guardians of HCPSS students with IEPs and IFSPs will have the opportunity to select from a variety of workshops during each session. Engage in discussions\, ask questions and learn how to use tools to support your student’s success and reduce stress. There will also be workshops about advocating for your child and becoming an active and informed member of the IEP team. This event is for seasoned parents/guardians and those new to special education process. Online registration is required by Monday\, October 3. Each registrant will receive an email by Tuesday\, October 4\, with a description of the workshops\, including the time and virtual meeting links. Please email FSRC@hcpss.org with any questions. This free event is part of the\ncontinued trainings by HCPSS about special education.
