DESCRIPTION:Topic: Self Care\, Stress Management and the Holiday Season \nA facilitated discussion group for people who parent or care for individuals with Autism \nFall Monthly meetings:  September 21\, October 19\, November 16 and December 21 from 7:00-8:30pm \nThis month’s topic will be Self care\, stress management\, and the holiday season.  Tis the season! While the holiday season holds much beauty\, joy\, and fun\, it can also carry its weight of stress\, dread\, and overwhelm for some. Let’s come together to support each other\, learn positive and healthy strategies to experience a more mindful\, satisfying holiday season. \nSessions will feature open discussion or presentations on topics of interest to Autism families and caregivers. Topics will be announced in advance by e-mail. Support groups are currently virtual via Zoom. We hope to offer in-person options later in the year. \nFREE but a ONE-TIME REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. The Zoom login will be sent by email one day before the session. \nIf you have already registered for the AUSOM Family Support Group\, you do NOT need to register again. \nCLICK HERE for one-time registration
