DESCRIPTION:HCAS’s Annual Meeting with the Howard County Public School System’s\nDepartment of Special Education (HCPSS-DSE) \nInvesting in Our Special Education Community \nTuesday\, March 22\, 2022 from 7-8:30pm \nA free Zoom webinar with simultaneous Spanish interpretation hosted by the Autism Society of Maryland \nThis virtual annual meeting with leaders in the HCPSS Dept. of Special Education will provide you with the opportunity to: \n* Catch up on COVID-19 Recovery Plans \n* Learn about Dr. Martirano’s historic proposed budget for DSE\, new investments in teachers\, behavioral supports\, and much more \n* Meet with central office Special Education leaders for your child’s grade \n* Connect with other parents \n* Ask your questions about this school year and the 2022-2023 school year \nTerri Savage and Janice Yetter will present on HCPSS’s plans for the coming year\, then participants will gather in break-out sessions for parents/families with students in early childhood programs\, elementary school\, middle school and high school.  Break-out sessions will be moderated by members of the DSE leadership team.
