SUMMARY:Yoga for Children\, Teens and Adults with Autism
DESCRIPTION:Enjoy our weekly FREE Yoga Classes with instructors from the Yoga Center of Columbia. These classes are made possible through the generosity of The Hussman Foundation.    \nParticipants and parents/guardians to pre-register with HCAS. This is a one-time registration. Once registered\, you will be added to the list to receive\, by e-mail\, the videoconference login and password for any future yoga classes. You will receive this information directly from the yoga instructors before each Saturday class. You may request to unsubscribe from the list at any time. \nCLICK to REGISTER \nEach class will open about 10 minutes early for participants to visit with one another. Please login at least a few minutes early to get admitted. Instructors will close the class to late arrivals promptly at 3:30pm so that instruction can begin on time and proceed without interruption. SUMMARY:The Housing Crisis for Adults with Disabilities: A Panel Discussion
DESCRIPTION:Join us for this important discussion on September 14\, 2021 from 7-9pm with options for registrants to attend either Virtually or In-Person at our office located at 9770 Patuxent Woods Drive ( Training Room)\, Columbia\, MD 21046.  Masks will be required for those attending in-person.  For those attending virtually\, you will receive a link to the Webex login in the confirmation email once you register. \nCLICK TO REGISTER \nTogether we will explore the challenges and share some very creative ways individuals and families are addressing the housing crisis.  Panelists will include individuals from the housing field\, a real estate professional\, an adult services agency\, and parents addressing the challenge for their loved ones with out of the box solutions.  And you’ll get an update on Patuxent Commons\, HCAS’ unique intergenerational housing project slated for construction in the Hickory Ridge community of Columbia\, MD. \nThe webinar will be recorded and available on the AUSOM website\, along with additional resources\, following the event. \n*We will continue to monitor the guidance of the CDC and Health Department Officials regarding in-person attendance for this event and issue updates as necessary.
