DESCRIPTION:Join us for an informational webinar on Special Education during COVID-19 \n\nHelp for Parents: Compensatory Education / Recovery Services \nJune 1\, 2021\, from 6:30-7:30pm \n \nThe webinar is FREE to attend but REGISTRATION is REQUIRED to receive the Webex login by email!  CLICK to register. \nAs students return to in-person learning\, school teams will be evaluating ​your child’s progress ​to ​determine if compensatory education/recovery services are required. Parent input and participation in these decisions will be critical. This informational webinar will provide guidance on how parents can prepare for and participate in these decisions. \n \n\n\n\n\nPresented by:\nLeslie Seid Margolis\, Managing Attorney\,  Disability Rights Maryland\nBeth Benevides\, Parent Advocate\, Autism Society of Maryland \nPLEASE NOTE:  This is one of two informational webinars on the same topic. The other will be held on May 27\, 2021 from 1:00-2:00pm To register for the May 27th session\, click HERE. \n\n\n\n\nYou may also be interested in ONE-on-ONE CONSULTATIONS\n\nIf you have questions about your child(ren)’s specific circumstances\, Leslie Seid Margolis and Beth Benevides will have drop-in office hours for FREE\, one-on-one consultations. These office hours will be provided on a first come\, first served basis as participants login. Each consult will last about 10 minutes depending on demand.
