SUMMARY:ONLINE - Thursday Socials! (Registration is now closed)
DESCRIPTION:All three social groups are full and registration for this program is now closed.   \n  \nWe are excited to announce that AUSOM will be working with Camp Inclusion to offer these social groups facilitated by their staff for six consecutive weeks starting on July 2nd. The social groups are not therapeutic but are instead designed to promote socialization between participants and facilitators through various age appropriate activities such as show & tell\, scavenger hunts\, and prompted questions. Each session will be between 30 and 45 minutes. \nThis program is made possible through a generous grant from The Horizon Foundation so we are able to offer the program at not cost! However\, we ask that you ensure your child can attend all of the sessions as space is limited to eight participants. This ensures that all participants get meaningful interactions during the sessions. \nTo register your child for a social group\, click the link below corresponding with your child’s age range. Registration is ongoing until all slots are filled. \nElementary: (6-11)         Teen: (12-17)         Young Adult: (18 and up) \nAdditional information is provided on the attached flyer.  If you have any questions\, please feel free to contact me.  We have a short turnaround time for registration and only 8 slots per age group so\, if you are interested\, please register ASAP!

SUMMARY:ONLINE - Yoga for Children\, Youth and Adults with Autism
DESCRIPTION:IMPORTANT UPDATE ON SATURDAY AUSOM YOGA CLASSES!  \nOur yoga participation procedures have changed! We will no longer post the videoconference login to the calendar listing on HCAS’s website. Please read the following to learn about our new procedure to ensure a safe and pleasant virtual experience for all for these weekly classes hosted by the Yoga Center of Columbia from 3:30-4:30pm on Saturdays.  \nEffective July 15\, 2020\, we are requiring participants and parents/guardians to pre-register with HCAS. This is a one-time registration. Once registered\, you will be added to the list to receive\, by e-mail\, the videoconference login and password for any future yoga classes. You will receive this information directly from the yoga instructors before each Saturday class. You may request to unsubscribe from the list at any time.  \nThe link to register is https://buff.ly/2CDh5ge \nEach class will open about 10 minutes early for participants to visit with one another. Please login at least a few minutes early to get admitted. Instructors will close the class to late arrivals promptly at 3:30pm so that instruction can begin on time and proceed without interruption.
